The ISGA and JGCA have been working hard to produce a clear pathway for teachers to teach students golf from the complete beginner up to the scratch golfer. This is the first complete training of its kind offered anywhere in the world. PGA professionals as well as teachers will gain great knowledge from this course which begins with level 1
Level 1.
This course provides an introduction to the organisation and delivery of safe and enjoyable coaching sessions for complete beginners and novice players. The course will establish the basic fundamentals of the golf swing and how to coach them. A full programme also includes knowledge of essential rules and etiquette of the game, setting up and running a structured series of lessons and key to using task-focussed learning techniques to achieve desired outcomes.
It is ideally suited to those working with groups of young players and sports coaches and leaders who want to gain knowledge or even specialise in the field of golf coaching.
