Reed’s School has long been associated with excellence in sport – Academies in Tennis, Golf, Ski Racing and Swimming offer a unique programme of training for elite athletes, linked carefully with their academic commitments. The Academies all compete and win at both national and international levels.
A tailor-made academic programme fully supports pupils whilst they are training, or away from school at competitions, allowing them to obtain a first-class education alongside achieving their sporting ambitions.
REED’ S SCHOOL GOLF ACADEMY (RSGA)
Driving success through a shared passion for the game and a commitment to excellence.
Performance athletes in the RSGA Academy receive 6+ hours weekly contact time on the course or on the range, a tailored strength & conditioning programme and world-class support from practitioners in the areas of nutrition, biomechanical feedback, movement, mental performance and short game.
Players compete on the European Schools’, Independent Schools’ Golf Association ISGA) and Swifts (formerly HMC) circuits, regularly winning at regional and national level. All our performance athletes compete in county or national squads and many go on to play in US or UK University programmes. The prestigious Burhill Golf Club is used for home for matches and training.
